Five Sharks Receive All-SSC Baseball Honors

The NSU baseball team had five athletes named to the 2013 All-Sunshine State Conference team, as announced by the conference office last week.

Brandon Sedell (So., Davie, Fla.) and Kevin Reynolds (Jr., Ft. Myers, Fla.) earned All-SSC First Team honors, while seniors Jose Rodriguez (Hialeah, Fla.) and Alex Marrero (Miami, Fla.), as well as junior Carlos Asuaje (Weston, Fla.), each were selected to the All-SSC Second Team.

Playing in his final season with the Sharks, Reynolds picked up his first all-conference award, receiving first-team honors, as the All-SSC designated hitter. Reynolds batted .311 while slugging .511 on the season. Reynolds also notched career highs in home runs (4) and RBI (21). Complete Release
