Pride Bite: NSU Presents and Earns Five Awards at CASE Conference

CASE Awards

Nova Southeastern University (NSU) was well represented at the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) 2016 District III Conference, held Feb. 14 – 17, 2016 in Nashville, Tennessee.

Out of the more than 1,000 submissions for awards, NSU was recognized across five categories for:

  • Grand Award in Advertising for “Potential Realized. Digital Shake it Up” awareness and recruitment campaign for mobile and desktop devices (University Relations/Marketing)
  • Award of Excellence in Advertising for “Potential. Realized. Print Ads” (University Relations/Marketing)
  • Special Merit in Writing for the Media for “Campuses Should be Weapon- and Firearm-Free Zones” (University Relations/Public Affairs)
  • Special Merit in Graphic Design for “University School ‘Thanks To You’ Impact Postcard” (Publications/USchool/University Relations)
  • Special Merit in Electronic and Digital Media for “Potential. Realized. Recruitment Video” (University Relations/Marketing)

In addition to winning awards, Jason Lyons, Annual Fund associate director, and Rachel Mojica, associate director of Alumni Relations, presented at the conference, where they discussed the synergies between Annual Fund and Alumni Relations before a standing-room-only crowd.

Presenting NSU’s work directly contributes to our community core value and helps to increase our national profile both for awareness as well as supporting development efforts for our Realizing Potential campaign.

CASE is a professional association serving educational institutions and the advancement professionals who work on their behalf in alumni relations, communications, development, marketing and allied areas. CASE helps its members build stronger relationships with their alumni and donors, raise funds for campus projects, produce recruitment materials, market their institutions to prospective students, diversify the profession, and foster public support of education.
