Preseason SSC Women’s Soccer Poll Released

The Nova Southeastern University women’s soccer team, under first-year head coach John Constable, has been chosen 7th in the Sunshine State Conference preseason poll, voted on by the coaches and released by the league office Monday afternoon.

Constable inherits a squad that features 20 returnees and adds a class of 10 newcomers. The season begins for the squad on the road, Sept. 4 in Salisbury, North Carolina, against Catawba.

Two-time defending conference champion Barry received 59 total points and four first-place votes to rank first in the poll, with Rollins a point behind in second (also receiving four top votes). Saint Leo garnered the league’s other first-place tally and is third. Here is the full list:
