Physical Therapy Students Raise Money to Fight Breast Cancer




Class of 2013 physical therapy students from Nova Southeastern University’s College of Allied Health and Nursing, ran and raised money to help fight breast cancer.


Class of 2013 physical therapy students from Nova Southeastern University’s College of Allied Health and Nursing, ran and raised money to help fight breast cancer. They participated in the 16th Annual Miami/Fort Lauderdale Susan B. Komen Race for the Cure. The race took place on Oct. 15 at Bayfront Park in Miami. There were over 23,000 people registered for the race. Among the runners, were 12 NSU physical therapy students along with their family and friends, who raised $1,870 to be donated to the Susan B. Komen Foundation.
