PA Program in Orlando Gives Back to the Community
The students in the Physician Assistants program at NSU’s Orlando campus are giving back to the community by serving up smiles in the Ronald McDonald House Share-a-Meal Program.
Along with numerous philanthropic events, the students also donate and prepare food for the families who stay at the house. PA Orlando SGA Activities and Philanthropy Chair Michelle McCarroll says, “The appreciation displayed by the occupants and staff members [of the house] filled our hearts with satisfaction and reminded us why it is so important to give back to the community.”
The students have scheduled and plan to continue providing meals to the house throughout the semester.
