Office of Campus Recreation to host Wellness Summer Camp, June 8-9

72dpi--Wellness-Summer-Camp-MarketingNSU’s Office of Campus Recreation is excited to host its first Wellness Summer Camp  on June 8–19, 2015.

The camp’s goal is to educate, support, and empower girls ages 12-14 to make and to promote healthy lifestyle choices.

Features and activities of the Wellness Camp include:

  • Nutrition workshops with registered dietician and sport nutritionist
  • Cooking demos with a WholeFoods Health Eating and Green Mission Specialist
  • Catered lunch and snacks by WholeFoods market
  • Fitness classes with certified personal trainers
  • Dimensions of wellness workshops
  • An organic local farm tour
  • Self-Love Project curriculum
  • Outdoor activities
  • Arts and crafts

*NSU faculty and staff receive free before and after care
