#NSU50 Top Moment No. 5: NSU Joins NAIA
The #NSU50 “Top Moments in NSU Athletics History” continues with the fifth moment on the list: Nova joins the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA).
The Sharks would begin competing in the NAIA in the fall of 1985. At the time, Nova’s undergraduate population was 222 students. Like the undergraduate program, the athletic department had fully developed and was ready to take off. Complete Release
