NSU Recognized for Employee Wellness Program
Hats off to NSU for receiving the Florida Fit Friendly Company Award. NSU was recognized for its annual Wellness Day programming, which contributes to the Florida Department of Health’s goal of making Florida the healthiest state in the nation.
NSU received a letter of congratulations from the Surgeon General & Secretary, John H. Armstrong, M.D., who called the university’s worksite wellness programs “an effective way to educate and encourage individuals to make meaningful changes toward a healthier lifestyle,” adding “healthier employees are more productive employees.”
Way to go, NSU!
