NSU Pediatrician Authors Paper on Mass Casualty Triage

Nova Southeastern University’s Institute for Child Health Policy Director Deborah A Mulligan, M.D., served as a member of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and National Association of EMS Physicians’ Model Uniform Core Criteria for Mass Casualty Triage work group.  Mulligan is an author of  “Mass Casualty Triage: An Evaluation of the Science and Refinement of a National Guideline,” which was published in the June 2011 issue of Disaster Medicine and Public Health Preparedness (DMPHP).

Physicians and other health professionals can earn credit by reading the Continuing Medical Education-designated article in the online issue of DMPHP www.dmphp.org/misc/cme.dtl and taking the quiz.  Mulligan is a pediatric expert to the NSU’s Institute for Disaster and Emergency Preparedness.
