NSU’s College of Nursing students in Fort Myers recently participated in the Florida Student Nurses Association’s “Make Them Smile Campaign.” The group organized a drive to obtain 1,000 latex-free bandage donations to give to Immokalee Clinic, a Federally Qualified Health Center which treats underserved populations, where students participate in educational rotations. Not only did the students meet their goal, they doubled it, receiving 2,000 bandages! This is a great example of NSU’s Community Core Value.
