The NSU Jacksonville regional campus was pleased to have 20 students, staff, alumni, and their family members partner with the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce Downtown Council’s annual Painting of the PawPrints. NSU joined more than 300 participants who painted the 263 paw prints that lead from the Main Street Bridge to EverBank Field.

This tradition began 20 years ago and continues to delight Jaguar fans while raising community and team spirit. NSU Jacksonville volunteers worked for Teams 2, 4, and 8 alongside Jacksonville celebrities Jaxon DeVille, the Roar, and Jacksonville Giants’ mascot, Mr. Biggs, to paint the paw prints.

As a special thank you their hard work, volunteers received tickets to the Jaguars vs. Buccaneers pre-season game. Several volunteers also won raffle ticket prizes including free symphony tickets and weekend hotel stays. Thank you Sharks for beautifying our city and raising Jaguar spirit!
