No. 1 Rowing Team Wins Varsity-8 at FIRA Championship

No. 1 NSU Rowing Team.

The No. 1 NSU rowing team had a successful day at the Florida Intercollegiate Rowing Association (FIRA) Championship Saturday, April 5 taking the varsity-8 title. The Sharks’ eight boat won a close race with a time of 6:50.5. NSU was 1.6 seconds faster than NCAA Division I Jacksonville and over 20 seconds faster than any DII team.

The eight boat was comprised of: coxswain Courtney Berger (Sr., Sarasota, Fla.), Stephanie Hauck (Sr., Somers Point, N.J.), Bethany Warlich (Fr., Leeds Point, N.J.), Adrianna Rosario (So., Pembroke Pines, Fla.), Kristen Page (Fr., San Diego, Calif.)Megan O’Donnell (Jr., Lake Worth, Fla.), Emily Harrington (Sr., Virginia Beach, Fla.), Remi McClellan (Jr., Mullica, N.J.) and Kelly Scott (Jr., Hobe Sound, Fla.).​ Complete Release
