This summer, Cassidy will be offering a series of workshops to address some of the most pressing legal needs that our veterans face. In the fall, the Veterans Clinic will begin case consultation and representation in limited areas of family law. |

Guy Harvey Leads Isla Mujeres Expedition To Deploy Satellite SPOT Tags to Study Mako Shark Migrations
 | An expedition headed by NSU's Guy Harvey Research Institute (GHRI) tagged mako sharks with the satellite reporting SPOT tags. Unlike the more commonly used pop-up satellite PAT tags, SPOT tags should provide multiple and more accurate daily detections, providing scientists with a high resolution view of the migration patterns of this animal. |

NSU Appoints New Dean of Computer Sciences College, Eric Ackerman, Ph.D.

Ackerman, Ph.D., as dean of NSU’s Graduate School of Computer and Information Sciences (SCIS). Ackerman, who has served as associate dean and assistant dean with SCIS since 2000, has been serving in the role of interim dean of the college since January, 2012. |
