Mothers’ Day Holds Special Meaning for Moms who Study with Their Kids at NSU
Most people don’t have the opportunity to get college degrees alongside their children, but that’s exactly what Damaris Hall and Naghmen Taherian are doing here at NSU. Damaris Hall is graduating with her master’s in National Security Affairs, from NSU’s College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences alongside her son James Hall, who is a current student at the H. Wayne Huizenga College of Business and Entrepreneurship working on his M.B.A. in International Business.
Naghmen Taherian and her daughter Tara are third-year dental school students at NSU’s College of Dental Medicine. It is amazing to see how they study together and help one another with patients and projects.
These wonderful and inspirational mothers are giving their kids a solid example of someone setting a goal and meeting it. CLICK HERE to read the full story.
