Library System Upgrade, May 25
The NSU Libraries will be performing required maintenance that will impact your ability to access some of its online systems. We expect the NovaCat online catalog to be offline throughout this scheduled maintenance window. Access to most of the NSU libraries’ electronic databases and other online services will not be interrupted.
What is happening: Hardware/software upgrades of the NovaCat online library catalog.
When this is happening: Monday, May 25, starting at 2:00 AM ET.
Expected Downtime: This maintenance is expected to take up to 18 hours to complete. To minimize the impact on the NSU community, every effort will be made to ensure that access to NovaCat is re-established as quickly as possible.
The following library services will not be available during this downtime:
- NovaCat catalog searching
- NovaCat holds
- NovaCat renewals
- Find It! feature of the library’s database search
The following services will not be interrupted during this downtime:
- Database access
- Journal Finder
- ILLiad
- Alvin Sherman Library Study Room Reservation
