International Institute for Applied Knowledge Management to Honor Computer & Information Sciences Professor


Yair Levy, Ph.D.


Yair Levy, Ph.D., professor of information systems at NSU’s Graduate School of Computer and Information Sciences, was recently awarded a Fellow & Distinguished Scholar by the International Institute for Applied Knowledge Management.

This award is the highest and most prestigious award given by the International Institute for Applied Knowledge Management. Levy will be presented with this award during the Knowledge Management Conference in Novi Sad, Serbia in June 2013.

Levy is also the founding director of the Center for eLearning Security Research (CeLSR). His current research interests include security issues with e-learning systems, cyber-security skills, cognitive value of information systems and e-learning systems, effectiveness of information and e-learning systems. Levy has been serving as a member of conference proceedings committees for numerous scholarly conferences, as well as referee research reviewer for hundreds of national and international scientific journals, conference proceedings, information systems and information security textbooks. He is also frequently an invited keynote speaker at national and international meetings on information systems, information security, and elearning topics.
