GSCIS Alumnus Promoted to Professor at Rochester Institute of Technology

Trudy Howles, Ph.D., was recently promoted to the position of professor of Computer Science at the Rochester Institute of Technology. Howles graduated from Nova Southeastern University’s Graduate School of Computer and Information Sciences in 2007 with a Ph.D. in Computing Technology in Education.

Howles’ current research interests include data management (data mining), and software quality and security. Howles is a Certified Software Quality Engineer (American Society for Quality), and an associate editor for the Software Quality Professional Journal.
