Grad Fair Offers Something for Every NSU Commencement Candidate

Commencement Stoles

Commencement Stoles

The NSU Bookstore, in cooperation with the NSU Commencement Team, will host the third annual Grad Fair, Wednesday through Friday, April 23-25, from noon to 6 p.m., at the main campus Bookstore, located at UPP South.

The Grad Fair is a one-stop graduation headquarters for NSU candidates of all disciplines. Personalized announcements, class rings, and diploma frames will be on display. Academic regalia ordered for the May ceremonies before April 6 will also be available for pickup.

Additionally, representatives will be on site to photograph candidates in cap and gown regalia. The portrait sitting is free of charge and photo proofs will be provided via email with no obligation to buy.

New this year are two optional stoles that candidates can purchase and share. The first is a Stole of Gratitude, which offers candidates the opportunity to thank anyone who has helped them with their graduation from college. After being worn at commencement, the new graduate presents the Stole of Gratitude to someone who provided extraordinary help or support.

The second new stole is the international sash, with its embossed country flag, signifying pride in an international student’s country of origin.

April’s Grad Fair will be the first of two this spring at the Bookstore. Candidates for the later ceremonies can also celebrate their accomplishment, May 21-23, at the UPP location.

For more information on either of the 2014 NSU Grad Fairs, contact the Bookstore at (954) 262-4750 or email nsumerch@nova.edu.
