Free dental services program in Miramar almost at capacity (Sun-Sentinel)

A new dental services program in Miramar is already almost at capacity.

The free program is a partnership between the city and Nova Southeastern University’s College of Dental Medicine. Through the program, NSU dentists supervise students in providing services such as oral exams, dental cleanings and fluoride treatments. The program is funded by a $256,000 grant from the Health Foundation of South Florida. The grant is intended to provide services to underserved children and adults.
