Fischler Hosts Second Teacher Career Development Day with Free School Supplies

As one of America’s largest schools of education for more than 40 years, NSU’s Fischler School of Education is a powerful resource for teachers seeking guidance in a changing academic world.

The Fischler School recently hosted a Teacher Career Development Day on NSU’s main campus, which provided tri-country teachers with a wealth of resources to prepare for the new school year and plan a path forward in today’s changing environment.

Due to the success of this event, the Fischler School will be hosting a second Teacher Career Development Day from 8:30 a.m. to noon on Saturday, July 31 at the Kendall campus.

The community is invited to join Fischler School faculty and advisors for a morning of free interactive sessions that will feature:

  • Lesson planning with “make and take home” plans
  • Interactive curriculum tutorials in high-demand areas including reading, exceptional student education, leadership, science, ELL and TESOL
  • Professional career guidance and financial aid information
  • Free school supplies with a valid teacher ID

Don’t miss Teacher Career Development Day: Saturday, July 31, from 8:30 a.m. to noon on NSU’s Kendall campus, 8585 SW 124th Avenue, Miami, Florida 33183.
