Appointment of Vice President for Clinical Operations

Kelly Gregg

NSU President George L. Hanbury II, Ph.D., recently announced the appointment of Kelly Gregg as the new Vice President for Clinical Operations. Mr. Gregg brings to NSU over 35 years of business experience in the healthcare environment including specialized expertise in finance, revenue cycle management and medical practice administration.

Mr. Gregg comes to NSU from Diagnostic Clinic Medical Group (Tampa) where he is Chief Financial Officer and Senior Manager of a 110 provider multi-specialty practice group with over 400,000 annual patient encounters in primary care, medical specialty care, surgical care, ophthalmology/ optometry, rehab services and hospital based services. Mr. Gregg served in a similar capacity with Carolina Regional Orthopedics (Rocky Mount, NC). Previously, Mr. Gregg held the position of Chief Operations/Development Officer with Health Associates of Kentucky (the physician practice arm of the University to Kentucky Medical Network) and as Chief Financial Officer for the Sedona Healthcare Group (Chapel Hill, NC), a physician practice management group.

Mr. Gregg’s background and experience are particularly relevant to the opportunities and programmatic goals for the Division of Clinical Operations. Among Mr. Gregg’s accomplishments are completion of a successful transition to ICD 10, development of an Accountable Care Organization in partnership with Walgreens under the CMS Medicare Shared Services Program, and development and interior workflow for a new 165,000 square foot facility that won several engineering awards.

Mr. Gregg received his B.S. degree (Business Administration) from San Diego State University and his professional memberships include the Medical Group Management Association, Healthcare Finance Management Association and American College of Healthcare Executives.
