2015 Baseball Schedule Released

rp_primary_P1160870The Nova Southeastern University baseball team has released its 2015 schedule and will open up at home with a three-game series against the Stillman Tigers beginning on Feb. 1.

The Sharks will then play host to two of the top programs in NCAA Divison II when they welcome Delta State on Feb. 6-7 and Southern New Hampshire on Feb. 13-15 for back-to-back three-game weekend series’.

After opening the season with nine straight home games, NSU will hit the road for two mid-week games against Saint Thomas on Feb. 17 and Palm Beach Atlantic on Feb. 23. The blue and grey will then play host to Northwood on Feb. 24, before welcoming Albany State on Feb. 27-28 for a three-game weekend series to close out the month of February.

March will open Sunshine State Conference action, as the Sharks will travel to Saint Leo on March 6-7 looking to tame the Lions for the second year in a row. NSU will then return home for a 10-game home stand featuring games against American International on March 10, Mercy on March 11 and a three-game series with Adelphi University on March 13-15. The home stand will wrap up with a SSC clash with Florida Southern on March 20-21 and a mid-week matchup with STU on March 24.

Late March and most of April will feature a weekend conference series against the likes of Lynn on March 27-28, Tampa on April 2-3, Florida Tech on April 10-11 and Rollins on April 17-18, followed by a midweek dual with PBA for four straight weeks. Lynn and Rollins will be the only weekend road matchups of the stretch, while the four midweek games against PBA will be split, two apiece at each school.

The Sharks will wrap up the regular season with a trip to Saint Petersburg, Florida to take on Eckerd on April 24-25 before returning home to clash with Barry on May 1-2.

The NCAA South Regional will take place from May 15-17, and the NCAA Division II World Series will take place in Cary, N.C. May 23-30, concluding the 2015 baseball season.
